1.

Anker PowerCore Portable Chargers are a reliable way to stay connected during your visit! You’ll find yourself reaching for your phone frequently throughout the day. The MyDisneyExperience app enables guests to mobile order from most quick service restaurant locations on property, as well as arranging any table service reservations. It’s also how you arrange for Fastpasses during your stay.

2.

Your cellphone is your lifeline when it comes to making arrangements at Disney World. As mentioned above, you can order food, make reservations, or ride Fastpasses. You can even unlock the door to your room at the resort! While ATT wifi is available throughout the Resort, it’s important to have reliable cellular service and data when travelling between the parks or in more remote areas. Mint Mobile is a fantastic carrier with very affordable unlimited data plans.

3.

First Aid supplies are a must while out in the parks. There are first aid stations located throughout the parks; however, it’s much easier to bring your own pain reliever or bandage in a pinch, especially if you’re an hour into your ride wait time! This is especially true when you have kids with you. Save a lot of legwork by bringing the essentials with you from home!

4.

Reusable water bottles and silicon straws are a great way to stay hydrated in the Florida heat and humidity while doing a solid for the environment. Disney has even installed filling stations for reusable water bottles! Now that beverages are served without a straw or exclusively with a paper straw, a silicon straw may come in handy when paper straws fall apart before you get to the end of your drink.

5.

Emergency Ponchos will have you covered when the Orlando skies decide to hit you with a downpour! Few things will put a damper on your day than trudging through crowds in a set of wet clothes. Come prepared with a lightweight poncho for each member of your family so you can avoid the six dollar ponchos at the parks! We loved that this pack had both adult and child sizes.

6.

Your wallet may be a given essential, but be sure to bring your ID as well. You’ll find that food service locations that serve alcoholic beverages are frequently required to request identification. Additionally, while we never intend to lose things like our MagicBands, these things do happen from time to time. Be prepared with payment options in case Murphy’s Law hits you with its best! We love this small, lightweight wallet option that will give you all the Disney feels!

7.

Widebrim sun hats will keep you cool in a place not known for many shade options. Especially in Hollywood Studios, areas with shady tree cover are far and few between. Make sure you pack a hat to keep your face and neck safe from the sun’s rays while you’re stuck in a sunny line for your attraction.

8.

Sunscreen is a must-have for park days. Make sure you lather up the family regularly to keep them safe from the sun. Like we mentioned, shady spots can be hard to come by! They do sell sunscreen onsite, but it’s cheaper to bring from home and you get to choose something awesome like Blue Lizard!

9.

Snacks make the world go ‘round! We love a Mickey Bar and Mickey-shaped pretzel. Don’t even get us started on Dole Whips! Between meals and snacks, or once we land at the hotel, we like to pace ourselves with snacks from home. It also helps to keep kids (and adults) fed before the hanger hits. Snacks like these Veggie Straws from home tide us over without having to trek all the way to the hotel lobby for sustenance. Another great option is having groceries and other supplies delivered to the hotel!

10.

Comfortable shoes can make or break your vacation at Disney World! You may have heard us mention that Disney goers can log thousands of steps, averaging miles per day! Make sure you have time to break in your new shoes will pay off immensely, so get started ASAP! We love Sketchers for the parks and for everyday wear! If you prefer a lighter sandal over a sneaker, be sure to check out our post on The Very Best Sandals to Wear at Disney World!

Hopefully these will give you some great ideas to stock your park back without overpacking! Is there anything that you always bring with you that’s not mentioned above? Let us know in the comments!
